Norman du Preez founded Du Preez & Associates Attorneys in December 2004.
The firm has an effective compliment of administrative and support staff, including candidate attorneys who are taken on from time to time. As a dynamic and energetic firm, we recognize the needs and indeed the demands of our clients regarding efficiency in service and the expeditious resolution of disputes.
We furthermore recognize the need of all commercial clients to have up to date reports on progress on any particular matter, which will be entrusted to us.
We pride ourselves on furnishing reports to clients, either in person at board meetings as we do with certain clients or furnishing fortnightly written reports on each individual matter, detailing not only the progress made in such matter, but also indicating the anticipated costs of further action and the anticipated duration to resolution of that particular matter.
Norman du Preez has Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from the University of Johannesburg. He has right of appearance in the High Court in terms of Section 4(2) of Act 62 of 1995 and has 14 (fourteen) years of legal experience, including the statutory period of service as a candidate attorney. He practised for his own account under the name N. S. du Preez Attorneys, before becoming director of Du Preez Hutcheon Inc. He established Du Preez & Associates in 2004.
Faber van Niekerk Admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2013 after completing his LLB at the University of the Free State. Experience in debt collection, commercial drafting, civil litigation, wills and estates, liquidation and insolvency, labour law and divorce matters.
